This is a simple small container to find. It invovles a short walk (or even shorter if you use alternative parking coordinates). Cache container is listed as small but due to its slightly unusual nature, is unsuitable for swaps/TBs however it does contain a pencil and log book.
The location and its name has an interesting children's story behind it, which you can read here - I thoroughly recommend you read this before finding the cache. It'll definitely add to the atmosphere of walking to this cache!
There used to be a small picnic area at the beginning of the unpaved road that leads to the cache, however this is now closed off and looks quite derelict. There is still plenty of parking along the unpaved road. This is the parking location I recommend for a walk with some stunning scenery along the way.
Alternatively, there is parking further up the unpaved road - enough for about 3 cars, which I've waymarked. However this is a popular parking location for dog walkers and all spaces may be blocked by a single badly parked vehicle and turning is tight. Don't try to venture further up in a car as there's only one potential turning location - and if you drive all the way to the cache, expect a very long reverse back.
And... if a small man with a bumpy face and red eyes joins you in your walk to the cache, listen to what he has to offer... it may just change your life!
Note that if you continue walking along the path beyond the cache, you will arrive at what looks like a normal road - yet when I was there it had no traffic watsoever and didn't appear on any of my maps. This turns out to be a new route to a domestic landfill and is only open weekdays during opening hours.
Please replace the cache carefully and in this case, please don't put any goodies in as they may prevent the log book from going back in.
