Ein Cache etwas oberhalb des Grünsees in der Nähe der Höchster Hütte mit schöner Aussicht. A cache near the Green Lake and the Höchster Hütte with a panoramic view.
[DE] Der Grünsee liegt am Ende des Ultentals auf 2529 Metern über Meer im Schatten der Hinteren (und auch Vorderen) Eggenspitze und der Zufrittspitze, jeweils über 3400 Meter hoch. Direkt am See, der in den 1950er Jahren gestaut wurde, liegt die Höchster Hütte.
Der Cache liegt etwas oberhalb des Grünsees. Direkt daneben befindet sich eine Bank, die Rastmöglichkeit und einen weitläufigen Blick auf den Grünsse und das Panorama dahinter bietet. Von dort zweigt sich der Wanderweg in Richtung Hintere Eggenspitze bzw. Zufrittspitze.
Vom Parkplatz am Weißbrunnsee wandert man in etwa zwei Stunden dem Wanderweg 140 folgend bis zur Höchster Hütte und erreicht in etwa 20 Minuten den Cache auf 2660 Metern Meereshöhe.
[EN] The Grünsee (Green Lake) lies at the end of Ulten Valley at a height of 2529 metres in the shadow of Hintere Eggenspitze and Zufrittspitze, both over 3400 metres high. Beside the sea lies the Höchster Hütte (A mountain hut).
The Cache resides a bit over the lake near a bench and where the way parts for Hintere Eggenspitze and Zufrittspitze. From there you have a beautiful view over the lake and the surrounding panorama.
From the parking place 1t 1900 metres you can reach the Höchster Hütte following the way number 140 in about two hours. From there it is only 20 minutes to the cache at 2660 metres.
