Lough Boora Parklands are a beautiful landscape at the centre of Ireland - a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts. within the parkland's there is a cycle/ walking track that takes you around a sculpture park .The sculpture park was established in 2002 and provides contemporary artists with an opportunity to create large-scale works of art inspired by the rich natural and industrial legacy of the bog lands. The Park is open to the public 365 days of the year. Admission is free.There is parking near the cache and you can all so rent bikes .
The cache is a good walk from the car park , so it would be wise to bring a bike or hire one , there is a picnic table near the cache site where you can have some lunch then you can head over to the old plough and look for the cache . Please beware that there is a few beehives near the cache site , you do not need to go near them to find the cache , and they are far enough away to not bother you .
