Geocache Description:

The Hockhocking Adena Bikeway is a 19 mile trail along the Hocking River in Athens County. The cache is on the south (west) side, small lock-n-lock container.

The Beverly Hillbillies was a half hour sitcom which ran from 1962 to 1971. The gist of the show is a backwoods family (meaning no electricity or running water) striking it rich on a swamp full of oil, then moving to a Beverly Hills mansion. It seems that you can take a family out of the country, but you can't take country livin' out of the family. City life just ain't so easy.

The closest parking spots are listed in "The Beverly Hillbillies" and "Y'all come back now, y'hear?" caches. The terrain rating is solely based on distance from parking and has nothing to do with the terrain at the GZ. These caches are not meant to be hard; they are all very close to the bike path and not more than a few feet into the tree line. Please look both ways before retrieving/replacing the cache, the path is very busy. Have fun and hope this series brings back a few memories.
