Geocache Description:

The cache is NOT at the posted coordinates. You will have to solve the puzzle to get the coordinates.
On the west coast they have a number of 45 step caches. I have really enjoyed trying to solve them. The whole family got involved in solving one of them. Since people have been teaming up I decided it would be fun to bring one of this puzzle type here with more entry points. This should make it even more group friendly. Some other examples :
45-step by kablooey
AlfaBet Soup by jdevor + sarah
Number, Number by Etoa Nrish
This type of puzzle is done by replacing part of the url with the next step. Each step is related to the number of the step. As an example if the first step is http://neogeo585.puzzlebed.com/NPC9/1
and there is a 1 then the next step would be a 2 so you would enter
http://neogeo585.puzzlebed.com/NPC9/2

The first entry point is
neogeo585.puzzlebed.com/NPC9/1
the 31 entry point is
neogeo585.puzzlebed.com/NPC9/31
The 61st entry point is
neogeo585.puzzlebed.com/NPC9/61

Some rules to make it easier:
Always use the same format as the clues.
Convert all capital letters to small letters.
Only numbers, letters, dash and underscore(underline which is a shift dash) are allowed. Convert any other characters including spaces to underscores. This is both for simplicity and to prevent problems with filenames in browsers.

Notes about this cache: As this one is long, with more potentials for mistakes, if you think you have an answer but can not get to the next step, please email me and I will check the step until FTS. I hope you find this puzzle type as much fun as I do.

As a prize for the FTS, they will get a twistypuzzle.
Congratulations to teamajk for the well deserved FTS and very special thanks for keeping me abreast of progress and inconsistencies and even overcoming them.
Congratulations to XeroGeo for his first FTF and to TGG for deducing the location with limited data.

You can validate your puzzle solution with certitude.
