Geocache Description:

The cache is now a small coffee jar inside of which is a 35mm film container with log sheets. A few very small items would perhaps fit inside the cache. Bring your own pen or pencil. Cache is placed under rocks in a gap a short way up the side of the stone pillar. These stone pillars were the supports of a railroad bridge which washed away many years ago. They are a landmark of sorts on the Delaware River as they mark the takeout point for customers of both Delaware River Tubing and Bucks County River Country. I have rafted by here many times with the geodog and often pondered this as a unique spot for a cache. Take care to secure your raft, kayak, tube etc with a rope of some sort lest it float away downriver as you are searching for the cache. Cache isn`t really that hard to find, the difficulty rating is due to the current flowing around the pillars.
