Even in the driest of times Juniper Basin Res. will still usually have water. Hence it's a popular place for cows to hang out. The cache itself is a little hard to describe without giving it away. Although it's big enough to classify as a regular size, the container part of it is only large enough for the log and a pencil.
This one is somewhat remote but not that hard to get to. It's about 20 min. off pavement on good gravel roads. Take some extra food and water just in case.
If you make it this far, you should know that you're within striking distance of some fantastic Owyhee canyonland views. However, the roads get progressively more primitive so make sure you're prepared with an appropriate vehicle and a good supply of extra gas and provisions.
