Quick fun hide near public access and parking for hiking trails. Another in a series of family friendly caches. Public access parking near the first cache. This one if for the kids to find and trade items.
Drove past this road a hundred times before actually driving down. Just our type of road..plus parking and trail access. This place needed a few caches.
Some who have done others in this series have commented on not seeing horses… When placing the caches as we were walking out of the park, we were followed down the trail by 2 horses (hence the name). While placing this cache there today, there was plenty of ‘evidence’ of recent horses on the trail.
Trees in this area may interfere with GPS reception. Cache isn’t too hard to find though. Use Geosense. Cache is lock-n-lock style in camo.
