Friday, Sept. 28, 2012
5:00 p.m. Geocaching time (optional - come early)
7:00 p.m. Program @ Visitor Center, Audubon Acres

Kyle Simpson of the Chattanooga Audubon Society will be our host for a fun experience this evening learning about owls. The program begins at 7 p.m., but come early if you wish as Audubon Acres will remain open at 5 p.m. for geocaching as there are several great geocaches along the trails. An owl prowl night hike is planned as a part of the program, and we'll end the evening with smores around a nice campfire and share stories of owls, among other wildlife we're likely to encounter such as opossum, raccoon, bats, and of course the wildest wildlife out there: geocachers!

COST: $8 per person
($3 per person if you would like to volunteer with the Audubon Society)
(sign up sheet at event).

WHAT TO BRING: Please come prepared with a flashlight, a jacket in event it is cool, good hiking shoes, bottled water, and your best geocaching stealth mode so we can quietly sneak up on some owls tonight. Another event brought to you by
