Geocache Description:

Coopernook is now a small community about 20km North East of Taree. When it was a bustling town on the Lansdowne River the School of Arts was the cultural centre of town.

The Coopernook School of Arts hall was opened March 8, 1908, and is regularly used. The committee have agreed to have a geocache placed here – Thanks guys.
The 2006 census stated that 365 people lived in Coopernook, while the 2011 census has 519 people. As such, there is a considerable number of junior muggles, so please be aware, and avoid giving away that something is hidden here.
From Coopernook Oasis you are now heading the right direction down George Downes Drive (the old Pacific Highway) to go to Harrington and continue your Wander.
