Espelho do que acontece a nível mundial, a Madeira também se junta à comemoração do dia 12/12/12 e os 12 anos do Geocaching. Este evento em exemplo de anos anteriores, com início em 08/08/08, celebra a coincidência de números na data, sendo este o último da série uma vez que nos próximos 88 anos tal não será possível. Sendo que a data calha num dia de semana, o evento está agendado para as 21:21:21 no Garajau, prevendo-se o logbook estará no local até às 0:12:12.

No evento vamos ter a versão Madeirense da Geocoin criada a nível mundial para celebrar esta data. Uma vez que não se aceitam reservas e a coin só pode ser vendida a partir do evento, a melhor forma para garantir uma das 75 unidades produzidas será participar no evento.

Teremos também uma versão Madeirense da Coin 12-12-12 Multievents Portugal edition, uma das 5 que vão ser lançadas apenas em Portugal.

Geo-Event 12/12/12 Madeira, like it happens everywere, Madeira will also join the celebration of the day 12/12/12 and 12 years of Geocaching. This event as in previous years, beginning on 08/08/08, celebrates the coincidence of numbers in the date, which will be last in the series since in the coming 88 years this will not be possible. Since the date is on a weekday, and most of the people will be working the next day, the event is scheduled for 21:21:21 in Garajau, and the logbook will be there until 0:12:12.

We will have a Madeiren version of the Worldwide Geocoin created to celebrate this date. No reserves are allowed, and the coin will only be in sale from the event on.

We will also have a Madeiren version of the 12-12-12 Multievent Portugal Geocoin, one of the 5 Portuguese only editions.
