Tree Creeper
Tree Creeper is a delicate looking bird, brown above and silvery white below, with a fine down-curved bill. Tree creepers usually climb upwards, jerkily working its way up, propped on the stiff and pointed feathers of its tail, spiralling round trunk and branches, then will drop to the foot of another tree and start again.
These birds have been seen on the Lake Vrynwy RSPB reserve so if you follow this series of caches through the woods and up into the hills you might just get to more than just the one carved into the Totem Pole opposite the cache.
About the Cache
The cache contains a log, pencil, a few small items of swag and a small gift for the first to find (FTF). The container is suitable for small travel bugs or coins and small items of swag and while a pencil has been provided you would be wise to bring your own pen.
IMPORTANT NOTE
- Due to the nature of the work undertaken by the RSPB, it may at times [such as during the breeding season] become necessary to temporarily disable this cache and we would ask that you respect our decision to do this.
- Permission has been granted to place geocaches on the strict understanding that the RSPB nature trails are open to walkers only. Unauthorised vehicular and cycle access to these trails is strictly prohibited and any failure to comply with these conditions could result in prosecution and/or the removal of all the geocaches from the reserve.
