Geocache Description:


We believe Big Bear is such a beautiful place for geocaching.
This cache is located nearby the old Trout Pond.  This pond was once privately owned and well stocked with delicious trout.  Many families came year after year to fish having several generations catching their first fish in this pond.  Now it sits closed to the public, we all hope that one day it will become a popular picnic area where once again the  thrill of the first catch will echo through the trees. Congratulations to Mama Bear and 2 Cubz on FTF! Couldn't believe she found it 2 hours after I submitted it. Happy Hunting!
