Geocache Description:

The cache is NOT at the posted coordinates!
They‘ll put you within a few miles of the cache but considerably higher in elevation than you need to be.

You‘ll have to solve a little “mini-tribute to some of our caching buddies“ puzzle to find the actual coordinates. This is likely not an original puzzle idea, but I have yet to see one like it, so here you go.

Below, you'll find a few equations that were created using some of our local geo-pals‘ numbers. They may not all reside in the Spokane metro (close enough anyway), but they‘ve all got hides here and are family nonetheless.

I know there are plenty of you out there who cringe at math puzzles, but BigSisK4$ figured it out. So, are you smarter than or even as smart as our 7th grader??? Honestly, she has a way of making me feel like I‘m not sometimes.

Just read carefully, and complete your operations in the correct order
(this isn't that crazy Darth Trevor math),
and the coord checker should be singing to you in no time.
If asked for a month/day or date/year, use this format:
00/00/0000.

Unfortunately, this puzzle is at the mercy of our friends leaving their stats alone. I have had to adjust a number of the questions since the puzzle was created due to backlogged caches which alters stats. So, if you have difficulties with any part of the puzzle, please contact me as there may be a good chance that a stat has changed.

The cache is a camo-painted PB jar not too terribly far from a main trail. The difficulty rating applies to the puzzle. The hide is actually closer to a 2.
I’ll shut up now! Off you go!! Have fun!!!

Solve for
N 47° AB.CDE W 117° FG.HIJ

A = (the ones position of the number of Airrooster's 2009 finds) subtracted from (the tens position of the number of CrazyFrogLady‘s 2010 finds)

B = (the year Lookout Lisa started caching) minus (the sum of her finds in 2010, 2007, 2004, and her first year)

C = [(the number of Wiildrose‘s 2011 finds) minus (the sum of the number of her 2004 through 2010 finds) minus (the date of the month she found her first cache tripled) minus one] halved

D = the ones position in the difference of (the number of Martin 5‘s 2010 finds and the number of Trevor and Kate‘s 2007 finds)

E = add one to the difference of ( Blue Meanies‘ longest streak divided by four plus thirty) and ( WrongWayMommy‘s initial year finds, read backwards, of course )

F = (the year scareway found 982 geocaches) minus (the year majeda found 1014 geocaches)

G = (the sum of MtnGoat50 ’s finds in his first seven years of geocaching) divided by 586

H = (half of the number of LLCool‘s 2006 finds) minus (the number of days in our longest streak) minus (the number of our initial year finds)

I = subtract (the number of days in the month of KKLNdike Explorers‘ first find) from (the difference of the number of their 2011 and 2009 finds)

J = [the difference between (the sum of the month, day, and year of kidvegas19‘s membership to Geocaching.com) and (the sum of the month, day, and year of cachingclutes‘ first find)] minus (the sum of the thousands and ones position of the number of cachingclutes‘ 2009 finds)
