Geocache Description:

Waskesiu River trail is accessible for .5 km on a boardwalk bordered by interpretive panels and oral stories. The cache is about .6 km from the trailhead. 2.5 km loop.

Le sentier de la Rivière-Waskesiu est accessible sur 0.5 km sur le trottoir en bois bordé par des panneaux d'interprétation et des histoires orales. Le cache is envers .6 km du début du sentier. Boucle 2.5 km.

As you explore the Waskesiu River trail, watch for wolf scat, squirrel middens, bird signs and otter. You will wander through spruce and aspen forest. This water will flow into Montreal Lake then to Lac La Ronge. Aboriginal people and other traders used this historic route. Discover the secret of Grandfather Rock.
