Geocache Description:

Parking in close to GZ with a short walk to cache. Cache is a silver bison container. PLEASE LOOK DURING DAYLIGHT HOURS AND DO NOT DEFACE OR CLIMB ON MARKERS. Digger, the resident kitty, may follow you around as you look. He won't give any hints!!

Woodlawn Cemetery was established in 1854. The most famous occupant is Capt. James DeWolf. Capt. James DeWolf was killed in the Battle of the Little Bighorn River in Montana on June 25, 1876 along with the other troops of Gen. George Custer. Capt. DeWolf was an acting assisting surgeon in the 7th US Calvery under Gen. Custer. He was originally buried where he fell at Little Big Horn, but his wife, Fannie, moved his remains to Norwalk a year later. My father, who is Superintendent of Woodlawn, has given permission to place cache here. He asks that you be respectful of the graves in the area and not to climb or deface any of the headstones. Pleases only look during daylight hours and replace as found.
