Located on the side of Nettleton Gulch Road
Located near the Canfield Mountain trailhead parking area at the end of Nettleton Gulch Road. This is a very poplular area for motocycles, mountain bikes and ATVs. Watch for traffic and muggles.
Drive past GZ to the trailhead parking area. Turn around and head downhill. There is a turnout on the right side of the road just downhill of GZ. You can safely park here. Watch for traffic.
This is a replacement for one that I had in the area a year or so ago. It was an easy one that was muggled twice. I decided to try again at a much higher level of difficulty. I've included a photo from GZ. By pacing GZ is about 150' up the road from the outlet of the large culvert.
GPS signal bouncing due to tree cover. Latitude readings varied from N 47 42.784 to N 47 42.803 with the listed as being the most stable. Longitude also varied from W 116 43.803 to W 116 43.826 with the listed being the most stable. Use the attributes, description, hint and your geo-senses. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO DISTURB THE GROUND TO FIND IT.
