Welcome to the Old Newgate Ridge property of the East Granby Land Trust. In 1979 three parcels totaling 29 acres, including 6 acres on the Metacomet Trail, were transferred to the East Granby Land Trust.
This piece of land, and all other East Granby Land Trust properties, are acquired to conserve East Granby's green spaces. All EGLT land is open to the public for passive recreation like hiking, photography, and nature study.
This cache is not far off Metacomet Trail so don't worry about having to travel down hill. :)
