The Five Man Electrical Band

first released Signs in 1970 as the B-side to the single Hello Melinda Goodbye. Signs drew almost no attention in its role as understudy to an unpopular song. A year later is was re-released as the A-side, and climbed to number 3 in the US Billboard Hot 100. The Canadian group still performs periodically and is currently working a project that would use their iconic song as its theme in its drive to increase awareness of ways to protect an ever-more fragile environment.

Toward that spirit, this cache encourages all to enjoy the beauty of the beach and our environment for a few minutes.
