What the heck does that mean, 4years 2 days?
Early on in my caching career, I gained an obsession with finding caches that have not
been found in over a year. FTF, they are good. group hunts, many people like them. Me,
the true thrill is finding those caches that have gone by the wayside. The ones people
look at and say "no way, this one has too many dnf's." I say "let me at it."
This cache is a shameless pat on my own back. A congratulations for my crowning
achievement on my obsession.
The cache is GC179G9, Beabirds island cache #3:life on an island... When I
found this cache, there had not been a find on this cache for 4years and 2days. I even
got an e-mail from the cache owner with a comment that this must be some kind of
record.
If you are one of those crazy people who have my obsession for bringing caches back
to life, please include your story and the cache you set your record with.
You are looking for a bison tube. Please replace cache in the same manner and locaction
as you find the cache. Be extremely careful as you will need to cross one street to get to the cache. Good luck on finding your own holy grail.
