Geocache Description:

This cache will test your hopes and dreams and those that are of feint of heart should be warned that this monument to rainwater was placed on where H2O was not. Watch out for Canadian Thistle as it would love to give you a nice, big hug! Minnesota's state bird may be around at some times of the year and will happily show you it's gratitude by leaving itchy welts!

While this area is officially designated as a storm run-off area, many scientists have come to believe that prehistoric life played around here. To help settle this often bitter dispute, the city decried a monument had to be placed here in memory of those we now use as fossil fuel!!

The cache should only be searched in daylight as while it is nice to pay homage to those that came before us, let us do it when the neighbors don't think the real creatures have returned! For what it's worth, no climbing into the cement monster / monument is needed. In other words--"play nice!" Please be careful and try to put back where you find it--it's our first GC so after 600+ finds we figurted it was time to get some out! Please make sure to tell me if the ratings are to high or the easy.
