Geocache Description:

Welcome to our new multi cache, Treyford Hill.

The circular walk will take around an hour to an hour and a half, and cover just under two miles. There are a few stiles on route, one of which was a bit dodgy.
I'd advise walking boots as the chalky paths can be slippery after wet weather, and some of the paths are quite loose and easy to lose your footing on.

I wanted to set this as you will visit a couple of interesting locations to gather information and experience great views along the way. I know this cache won't get visited that often as it isn't as quick and easy as finding urban micros, but I hope that all who visit enjoy the walk as much as we did when setting it.

You will find a suitable place to park up in the waypoints. There is other spaces up the road to the parking area if it is full up.

At the above coordinates, you'll find the answer to the following questions:
How many acorns are here? Equals A.
How many purple arrows? Equals B.
How many screws on one blue arrow? Equals C.
Number of letters in the first word under the acorn on the purple arrow? Equals D.
How many blue arrows? Equals E.

Now head to N50 56.(A+C)(D-1)(B+E) W000 49.(D-C)(B-C)(C-E)

At these coordinates, you will find a memorial for Joseph. On the memorial there are two dates, label these: 19FG - 19HJ.

Now head to N50 56.(D-E)(D-H+F)(G+H) W000 49.G(G+C)(H-E)

Here you'll find a very interesting location. Views are brilliant on nice days, although it can be a bit spooky in the mist and dark! You will find an information board here, from it you need to find the date the excavations took place. Label this date KLMN.

Now head to N50 56.(K+L)(M-F)(N+E) W000 49.(M-K)(M-N)(L-K)

Here you will find a place that Mark liked. On the plaque there is two dates, shorten them both to the following format: DD/MM/YY. Now use the dates to fill in the blanks: 2P/0Q/R0 - S0/0T/UV.

Now you have all you need to find the cache which is a large clip box stuffed with loads of goodies. The cache can be found at N50 5Q.P(R+K)(TxS) W000 4U.(V-S)(T-N)(U-Q).

Hope you enjoy the walk, views and the cache.
