While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for the cache owner and block other cachers from placing a cache in the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time, we can’t do so forever.

Nothing seems to happen with this cache listing, so it is now archived, so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location. Also, if it hasn’t been done already, please pick up any remaining cache bits as soon as possible.

If the owner wants it reopened, send me an e-mail and I’ll be happy to unarchive the cache listing if it still satisfies the requirement/guidelines.

Geocache Description:

Denne cachen er plassert midt i alpintløypa på Hafjell, nær Bukkespranget.

This cache is placed in the middle of the slalom slope at Hafjell, close to Bukkespranget.

Hafjell Alpintsenter er et flott anlegg hvor man kan drive snøsport som for eksempel slalom eller snøbrett, i valgfritt bratt terreng, eller gå en fin langrennstur på ski. Her har jeg selv drevet på i mange år, og for hvert år jeg har drevet på med dette, sammen spesielt med min far og bror, samt andre familiemedlemmer har vi våget oss ut på tøffere og tøffere løyper til det ytterste. Cachen er lagt på en slik måte at man kan kjøre bort til den om sommeren, selv om veien er så som så, men å ta den på en tur i bakken kan også være en morsom idé. Merk at denne delen av anlegget fører til en av de tøffeste løypene i anlegget, men det skal være en omkjøring slik at det slipper å bli så bratt.

Jeg ønsker dere en koselig tur i Hafjell Alpinanlegg!

Hafjell alpintcenter is a very nice place if you want to do activties in the snow, whether it's slalom or snowbord, where you chose the difficulty of the terrain, or just a nice cross country ski tour. I have been at Hafjell skiing for many years, and everytime I visited this place through the years, especially with my dad and brother, and other familymembers, have we accended the difficulty, to reach the toughest slopes there is here. The cache is put in a place so you can drive to it, in the summer, even though the roads are not the best, close to the cache, or you can take the trip down on skis or snowboard, which will also make it an interesting and fun trip. Notice that this part of Hafjell leads to one of the toughest black slopes in the alpintcenter, but there should be a detour slope, so you don't have to go down a slope you are not feeling comfortable with.
