For this holiday season we, Fanasfreaks and Davidandbritt, wanted to do something special for all our fellow caching friends. We wanted to give a geo-gift that would continue giving for quite some time. After over three months of paddling, our gift was complete. We hope you enjoy it!!! Have Fun!!!
This cache is one of 100 stand alone caches placed on Lake Lanier as a Christmas gift to our fellow geocachers. Each of the 100 caches contains a letter/number combination. Make sure to write those down. You will need those to solve the 5/5 Island Madness Challenge Cache.
So as we were cutting thru the woods trying to avoid the briars, we stumbled out into a clearing. This was too interesting of a place not to hide a cache to get you to see it as well. Take a second or two after you find the cache to look at the landscape. Would appear that this area used to have something manmade there. Wonder what it was?
