Geocache Description:

A P&G at an active community center

When our older son was in high school, he was in a rock band with his friends. They were actually pretty good (especially the drummer!

) and played mostly original songs. One of their songs was about the sole survivor of a plane crash, called "Fun Til the Plane Went Down." It included this verse:

God I miss you, babe
And I miss your food
I know your cooking [mild expletive that's close to "socks" and means "is terrible"]
But I have no food

The little sister of one of the band members thought the song was saying "I know you're cooking socks," and since she was pretty young to be repeating the mild swear word, we all started calling it that. So this cache is dedicated to The Mike Johnson Experience, now disbanded (haha). They played at Higher Ground twice and at First Night Burlington once, which was thrilling, but this community center is where they played many of their gigs, at parties and for a few fundraisers. The community center offers a variety of classes and events such as contra dances--you can see what's coming up on the sign in front--and you can rent it by the hour for parties. They have given permission for this cache to be placed.

It should be a quick P&G, near the edge of the patch of woods. Please replace carefully to avoid muggle discovery. The cache was originally stocked with cooking tools and socks. It has since been replaced once with a container that was too small to hold a lot but still had socks, and then with an even smaller container with no room for socks. Other small trade items will fit.
