Geocache Description:

This cache is to honor and make people aware of the service of a member of the U.S. Army Signal Corps in WWI.

This cache was inspired by a little known story of extraordinary service.  Cher Ami was flown by the U.S. Army Signal Corps in France during WWI.  His flight was responsible for saving the lives of 194 Americans who were members of the Lost Battalion of the 77th Division in the Battle of Argonne, October 1918.  When you leave this cache, be sure to look up the details of the story of Cher Ami.  There are books, many websites, and photos.

The log for this cache is in a bison tube.  Please put everything back as you found it.

This should be a pretty easy find.  It is off the main trail but there will usually be many muggles and four-footed companions in the vicinity.

Please don't give it away in the logs.

Hope you enjoy your visit!
