Geocache Description:

This cache is located on our property. Please bring a copy of this page so those that live around us will know why you are there.

This is a two part cache. The first micro cache is a quick drive and grab. This micro cache holds the coordinates to the final cache, which is a traditional cash with trinkets and the log. The second part is about a 3/4 of a mile hike, and is located at the end of a field road known to locals as "The Bunny Trail." There is parking at the field entrances directly north of the first cache listed at Parking 1, and is owned by our family. There is also parking for the final hike listed as Parking 2, which also owned by our family. Please be aware of farm vehicles during planting and harvest time. You can find the starting point for the final cache, and second stage if you are doing this by land, is listed as Start of the Bunny Trail. While hiking or four wheeling down the trail stay off of the field to the north, as it is posted as private property. Keep a copy of this handy so people will know why you are there. The second cache is also a short trek from the Red Lake River, just off of a small bay, that is easily accessable by kayak, canoe, or boat. This is also available during the winter, but snowshoes/skiis are recommended. It is also a short snowmobile ride when the river is safely frozen. This cache is located at one of our kids favorite hiking areas, where deer, rabbits, geese, ducks, hawks, eagles, and many other birds and animals can be seen. If you bring your dog, please keep them on a leash as we do not want them chasing the wildlife. Hope you enjoy the hike as much as our family does. Any questions or problems, feel free to message me.
