You're standing at the overlook of the junction of the Whitewater River and Silver Creek. If the weather is
nice and it's a weekend, you are likely to see rafters and canoeists enjoying a day on the river.
Wildlife is abundant in the Whitewater Valley, so be sure to keep your eyes open for great blue heron,
deer, beaver, and even bald eagles are spotted on a regular basis in this area.
The Whitewater River and Silver Creek were where water was drawn for the Whitewater canal, so both
were instrumental in the development of the Whitewater Valley.
There's a very nice shelter/overlook here, so relax, sit and enjoy the scenery for a bit!
Parking is available at N 39 26.126 W 085 06.013. Please do not block the dumpster or private road.
There are a few drop offs along the canal, so please be mindful of any young ones you have with you.
