This is the 3rd in a series of Cooya Caches. It is a small sistema container with logbook, pencil, sharpener and swaps.
Walk about 600m from the parking (see waypoint) along the beach to where the Mossman River flows into the sea. Geo-birders should take their binoculars for the chance to see Beach Stone-curlew. Please do not swim or paddle in the waters of the Mossman River because you are in prime crocodile habitat (as is the case with all rivers north of Cairns) Rumour has it that in the old days the locals swam across the river here but always sent the dogs in first!
