Welcome to the Martinsburg Bike Trail - home to over 50 caches of all different sizes and types. You will find this isn't your typical cache trail. Great care and thought has went into placing some unique cache containers as well as what promises to be some memorable caches experiences. To keep you coming back, we are replacing some of our older caches with new ones like this one.
Grab your bike or walking shoes to access this fun series of caches along the WV 9 bike trail. The entire bike trail is about 10.5 miles long, or if you park here and do the entire trail if is about 21 miles. There are numerous parking spots along the trail. The entire trail is paved, and has gentle rolling hills. Pictures are posted on some of the caches to give you and idea of the terrain. This series of caches is located on the new bike path and is adjacent to the new and improved WV 9. Most of the caches in this series can only be accessed by walking or biking. No accessing from Route 9 - parking is ILLEGAL on Route 9. There is a fence separating Route 9 from the Bike Trail.

Gadget Cache A VERY unique multi cache, I can guarantee you have never seen one like it before. A fun gadget greets you at stage one, and then you'll be asked to use your sense of smell to find the final stage. The stages are very close, making for a quick and fun multi. This cache has vehicle parking very nearby. The kids will love it, so will you!!
