This pond was constructed in 1646 as an agricultural water reservoir by Katsuno Tarozaemon, a county court official of Owari. It was built to save farmers from a long lasting drought. Autumn moon viewing is particularly beautiful from this point.
Bring a pen (or Hiroshige woodblock carving kit) to sign the log.
