A Bridge Too Far was a 1977 epic war film. It told the tale of the allied attempt to seize bridges in the occupied Netherlands, Operation Market Garden.
British Lieutenant-General Frederick Browning, deputy commander of the First Allied Airborne Army was said to have told Field Marshall Bernard Montgomery (strategist of the operation) "I think we may be going a bridge too far".
The views and tranquility from this bridge are always worth taking 5 minutes to enjoy.
Cache is a lock and lock tub.
At time of placing it contained: coloured glue, insulating tape, bull dog clips, a hi lighter pen, padlock, mirror ball keyring and a FTF badge.
Well done to 67RS for FTF!!!!!
