A small cache hidden amongst the ruins of the Cliff Mine.
The road to the top is a solid dirt road which runs off Cliff Drive about 1.1 mines from US-41. The roughest section of the road is 100 yards in.
The mine site is 1.2 mines from Cliff Drive.
Spend some time walking through the area. Checkout the craftsmanship of the smoke stack and buildings.
The Cliff Mine began operations in the mid 1840's. I am not sure how old the foundations near the cache are, late 1800's I would guess.
