As a young boy growing up very near here we knew everything that was going on. Every year a local hunting club would hold a fishing contest in the Hell creek. Every year they would stock the creek and every year we would sneek in and catch as many trout as we could. We would ride our bikes back here, when we were done for the nite we would hide our poles here at the intersection of the paths and get them the next nite again, that way no one saw us riding our bikes back with fishing poles. One day as I reached behind an old log for my pole I had my 1st encounter with a rattle snake no fishing that nite.
