I was scanning the satellite map to see where I might plant a cache and noticed that this site, where I should have had a smiley, was vacant. Some of you will remember a DarkZen cache here, Monkey See, Monkey Do. Since I was one of the last to log it as a find, I went to check it out. Sure enough, it is gone. It looks like the cache's resting place is now on the ground. I then found that DarkZen had archived it, indicating that since he was no longer in the area it would be available for a new hide. I feel somewhat like an interloper swooping in to make a new hide. I assuage my conscience, however, with the thought it is such a good place that it just has to have another hide here. Those of us who have been caching for a year or more well remembers DarkZen and Evil Cow Pie. And we miss looking forward to the new hides we knew they would be making when here. Thanks, DarkZen, for bringing me out to this area when I first started caching. I hope searchers find this hide as interesting, though I suspect far less difficult to find, as the one you originally had here. When replacing cache, please cover artificial part carefully so it will be less obvious. Coordinates varied depending upon device I used. You may find Dark Zen's cords for Monkey See, Monkey Do useful. They are N 36 58.162 W 121 59.467. My geomate.jr got me within 9 feet of the new location using these cords.
