Trek through old lava fields to discover one of the most photographed waterfalls in Oregon. Proxy Falls along Highway 242 is an easy 1.5 mile loop perfect for families. Crawl over rocks and under trees to reach the moss covered basalt wall. The 226 foot veil waterfall towers over you. Fed by springs on the shoulder of North Sister, there are two primary viewing points for the falls. Going clockwise from the trailhead, the first view is through a natural channel. Save the best view for last. Hike a little farther to get to the base of the falls.
