This geocache is planted in celebration of my best friend's decision to marry the love of her life.
Mel + Roy = forever.
When my best friend Mel told me that she had met this great guy online, i was a bit skeptical. Firstly, he lived halfway across the world (in Mexico). Secondly, he just seemed too good to be true!
Over the next two years, as their friendship grew into something more serious, so did their credit card bills! These two lovebirds spent countless $ flying across the globe to visit each other. With plenty of time spent on the phone and Skype, they became excellent communicators! They met each others families and friends, and Roy passed all of the the 'tests' us friends set with flying colours! Slowly but surely they discovered that they were truly, madly, deeply in love.
Well the rest is history, and on 06.10.2012 Mel and Roy tied the knot at St Mary the Virgin's Anglican Church in a beautiful ceremony surrounded by loved ones. The epic celebrations that followed were held right here in Coogee, overlooking the gorgeous ocean and Wedding Cake Island!
This cache is hidden in a medium sized black water tight cliplock container, hidden amongst the scrubbery overlooking the beautiful Coogee skyline. No special tools are necessary.
In the logbook, I invite you to share any words of encouragement that you may have for couple, and any words of wisdom of what makes for a long lasting and satisfying relationship!
Please note that this is my first geocache so suggestions for improvement are welcome! If there are any issues with the cache, please log it. Although i live outside of the area, i have a local maintainer who will address any issues that arise.
