Chtigones: Afin de libérer un peu de place dans le secteur, j'archive cette cache (ma première pose à Limoges ...) sous sa forme "multi".
Elle renaîtra dans quelques jours sous une forme "traditionnelle" et devrait désormais se sentir moins seule dans le secteur.
Bravo à la Belette Team qui avait signé ici son 7ème FTF, suivi par de nombreux autres depuis et à Daniel95 et Jpbb qui ont partagé avec elle le podium.

[FR] Dimanche dernier, j'ai oublié de signer la carte de score de mon adversaire lors de la compétition de golf à Limoges-Saint-Lazare. Retrouvez sa carte et signez-la pour moi. Au passage, vous en apprendrez l'histoire du lieu.

Dimanche dernier, lors de ma compétition de golf, mon adversaire, Martial, a oublié de me donner sa carte de score. Pour valider le résultat, elle doit être signée. Je vous demande donc de la récupérer et de la signer pour moi.

Pour cela, il faudra vous rendre au golf municipal de Limoges, sur la "plaine des sports de Saint Lazare".

En vous présentant à l’accueil du golf, il est possible que vous croisiez Martial mais vous aurez plus de chances de trouver la carte en allant directement la chercher dans le sac, dans son casier. Il vous faudra le code de son casier pour accéder au sac, donc à la cache.

Observez bien le logo de Geocaching.com. Ne trouvez-vous pas que les liens avec le golf sont nombreux ? On y trouve en effet le vert des greens, le bleu des obstacles d'eau, ainsi qu'un accessoire placé sur chaque trou d'un parcours et souvent utilisé pour indiquer les golfs sur les cartes routières. Devinez de quel accessoire il s'agit et comptez combien on en trouve sur le parcours du Golf de Saint Lazare.

La plaine des sports de St Lazare débute à l'extrémité du golf, en N 45° 48.742', E 01° 16.924' (WP2). Vous y trouverez quelques indices pour poursuivre vos recherches.

Si vous trouvez le secteur un peu plat, c'est tout simplement qu'à l'origine s'y trouvait l'aérodrome de Limoges-Feytiat. A la construction de l'aéroport actuel (aéroport international de Limoges-Belgarde (Caches GC38BG2 Airport view et GC1CTBA Lusitania ), le terrain fut reconverti en plusieurs terrains de sport et un golf y fut aménagé en 1976. Une partie des reliefs furent créés grâce aux remblais issus du percement de la voie rapide qui longe le golf, devenue depuis une autoroute. Les panneaux alentour ou votre GPS vous donneront le numéro de l'autoroute Axx.

La plaine des sports possède une piscine et plusieurs terrains de tennis et de grand jeu (football et rugby).

Un hôtel se trouve sur le golf. Son nom est composé de plusieurs mots dont un qui désigne une partie du parcours. Relevez ce mot et comptez le nombre de lettres qu'il comporte.

Revenons un instant à l'époque de l'aérodrome de Limoges-Feytiat. Un personnage a fait ses premières armes aéronautiques sur ce site.

Modeste piqueuse sur cuir dans une usine de chaussures née à Limoges en 1898, orpheline de père à 11 ans, celle qui allait battre 38 ans plus tard le record féminin de la traversée de l'Atlantique Sud était une jeune fille comme beaucoup d'autres, turbulente et têtue. Elle découvrit l'aviation en épousant son filleul de guerre qui était pilote. Elle a également battu les records de durée et de distance respectivement en 1930 et 1931.

Elle a créé plus tard à Orly une école de pilotage qui porta son nom. Quel est son nom ? Si vous n'êtes pas Limougeaud, vous le trouverez grâce à un indice dissimulé en N 45° 48.716', E 01° 17.305' (WP3).

NB : si vous ne disposez pas du matériel pour décrypter l'indice, le Hint vous dévoilera le nom de cette célébrité.

Le nom et le prénom de cette pilote comprennent des lettres en double. Comptez le nombre de lettres reprises deux fois dans l'ensemble nom + prénom.

Vous disposer maintenant de tous les éléments pour rejoindre l'endroit où Martial range son sac.

Le casier se trouve en Nord 4C° (30+A).DB', Est 01° (A-1).(B+F+1)(F+E-D)'

Une fois trouvé le casier, composez le code ([A/5]BCD[E/3]F) et cherchez la carte de score. MERCI DE PRENDRE LA CARTE SANS ARRACHER SON SUPPORT. Il suffira de la signer puis de la remettre à sa place en prenant bien soin de fermer correctement le casier (on ne sait jamais, avec la pluie ou l'humidité … ce n'est que du papier)

Il sera prudent de vous munir d'un stylo, au cas où le petit crayon qui est dans le sac serait hors service …

Et puis … inutile de regarder mon score en signant la carte, je n’ai pas bien joué Dimanche !

Pour des raisons de sécurité, le golf n'est pas accessible aux promeneurs. Si vous souhaitez en avoir un aperçu, vous pouvez accéder jusqu'à l'accueil, en passant par le parking aux heures d'ouverture ou en allant prendre un verre en terrasse en passant par le restaurant-hôtel ou bien encore visiter la nouvelle cache VERT golf #2 (GC41RZ3).

If you find the area a little bit flat, it is simply because there was here originally the aerodrome of Limoges-Feytiat. After the construction of the current airport (International Airport of Limoges-Belgarde (Caches GC38BG2 - Airport view and GC1CTBA - Lusitania)), the ground was reconverted to several playing grounds and a golf course was fitted out in 1976. A part of the reliefs were created thanks to the elevations stemming from the drilling of the road which goes along the golf, became now a highway. Signs surrounding or your GPS equipment will give you the number of the highway Axx.

Pourquoi "VERT" / Why "VERT" ?
[FR] Ma première cache posée (GC3VHY2) était une boîte verte, avec un stylo vert, un log book vert et des objets d'échange verts. Ainsi est née l'idée de placer les caches qui ont suivi sous le signe du "VERT" et de proposer un challenge consistant à y déposer de préférence des objets "VERTs". Ce challenge ne peut malheureusement pas concerner les caches de taille nano ou micro.
