A pleasant walk to the Ginger Meggs memorial. Parking available at Moonrise lookout, off Saxony Road, Western Sydney Regional Park.
Ginger Meggs is a much loved local hero, take a stroll out to the plaque and read up on some local history. The walk includes a stretch on tar down Border road (no cars) and then a stretch on a well used grass path. When we walk along the grass path we regularly stomp our feet loudly, just to wake up and scare any snakes away. This cache is small in size but the logbook is in a micro, so please take along a pen. No space for swaps. Check park opening times on the gate at the entrance ($50 fee to get your car out if locked in). Usually 8am-7pm August to April, 8am to 6pm May - July.
