Geocache Description:

Welcome to my 122nd hide

Well, as events turned out, this cache is a direct replacement for Gypsies Glen, which used to be in pretty much the exact spot.  How this hide came about is, I went to find Gypsies Glen, and couldn't find it, reading the info I had on the iPhone, it said it was disabled as it had gone missing.  I thought, I have a spare container, I'll replace it.  So I did, not realizing that it was in fact "Archived".  I contacted Stooy, about putting in a new listing, and if he had any plans to do so, and would he mind If I put in a hide, as I had already placed a container here.  He was cool with that, so, here is the listing.

I have changed the name, to Chillin in Marong.  Why, well we, being the whole family, stayed in our recently restored 1962 Franklin caravan at the Marong Caravan Park.  Top trip.  We stayed for two nights, and I found 26 caches for the two days I was there.  Not huge numbers, but they were good caches, and I was very happy with some of the walks, including picking up Family Fun at Curusoe puzzle cache which I have had solved for more than 18 months.

We really enjoyed the trip over there as a family, and I have had enormous fun caching in the are over the years.  I have found 100s of caches in the area, and I am happy to be able to give one hide back to the locals.

Hide is a circular 100ml clip lock container with GC info sheet and log sheet.  No pen.

AS WITH ALL MY HIDES, THE GENERAL WARNING...  IT IS AUSTRALIA, SO BEWARE OF SNAKES AND SPIDERS AT ANY TIME.  THERE IS A MAJOR HIGHWAY NEARBY, BEING THE CALDER, SO IF YOU HAVE KIDS, KEEP A CLOSE EYE ON THEM.

Cheers, BL.
