Geocache Description:

A relaxing (but long) level walk in one of Ohio's natural wildlife areas to a fairly easy hide with room for SWAG. For parking, please use coordinates found below only!

The area you will be enjoying on this hunt was once a functioning farm, worked by the family of grabbit habit.  Hundreds of yards of drainage tile were laid by the father of the family, which have been removed since, to drain the very wetlands you see here to make them usable for corn, soybeans and other grains.  Not far from GZ, Lyle's daughter (half of grabbit habit!) would have a picnic and read on the grass by the edge of those fields as she watched her dad work the soil.  This whole area was purchased by the Lorain County Metro Parks system to create the wonderful wildlife area with over 4 miles of wheelchair accessible trails coursing through 500+ acres, a lake and a visitor's center.  You are looking for a medium sized round camouflaged container well hidden.  GZ is wheelchair accessible until the last 20 yards or so.  Please adhere to Metro Parks rules for use of this area especially following designated paths to reach GZ.  There is a prize for the FTF made by grabbit habit and a tractor trackable (Dad's Tractor), in memory of mom and dad,  will begin it's journey here.  Enjoy!
