We will meet in the area labeled "Int'l Meeting Space" on page two of http://www.wsctc.com/pdfs/floor_plans/FloorPlansCapacitiesDimensionsOctober2010.pdf . The building is quite the maze of levels and corridors, but the easiest way to get to this spot is:
- enter the convention center's main entrance at 7th & Pike (upper left corner, page 1),
- walk up the small flights of stairs towards FedEx Office (labeled "Business Center")
- take a right, walk past the fountain, and take the escalators up one level to level 2
- at level 2, get off the escalator, walk around the next set of escalators, and you're there.
Parking garages are on level 3, so anyone coming from one of those two garages will need to find their way into the convention center, get to the south end, and take the escalators down to level 2.
You can see on the map of level 2, near the Int'l Meeting Space, there's an arrow pointing "To Two Union Square". This exit will take you out to Freeway Park, where GC12YEM (Woof!) is hidden. If I remember correctly, it's hidden on the equivalent to level 4 of the convention center, which also has access to Freeway Park ("Ellis Plaza" on the map).
