The first of what may become an annual event at Heriot Watt University – a chance to meet some old friends and new faces, with opportunities for new cachers to see what all the fuss is about. There are some great family caching trails located on campus and plenty more slightly further afield.
The coordinates given are for the University Chaplaincy, complete with lounge, dining room and kitchen which have all been made available to us for the day. We will be serving tea, coffee & cakes from 2pm-5pm, plus some mulled wine to get into an early Christmas spirit! If anyone wants to donate some food or drink or wants to use the kitchen then please post a note below.
Nearby parking can be found in Car Park K, given as a waypoint below. Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead while on campus. All premium-member only caches located on campus will be made available for all geocachers to find for 1 week before and after the event. After this time they will go back to being premium caches.
