Geocache Description:

For this holiday season we, Fanasfreaks and Davidandbritt, wanted to do something special for all our fellow caching friends. We wanted to give a geo-gift that would continue giving for quite some time. After over three months of paddling, our gift was complete. We hope you enjoy it!!! Have Fun!!!

This cache is one of 100 stand alone caches placed on Lake Lanier as a Christmas gift to our fellow geocachers.  Each of the 100 caches contains a letter/number combination.  Make sure to write those down.  You will need those to solve the 5/5 Island Madness Challenge Cache.

Ok, you got us.  This one really isn't an island.  But unless you can get into the nearby marina or approach this section of Corps property from some other unknown way you are going to need some type of water craft to get to this one.  And only go from another way besides boat if you have the owners permission.  And since we are sure that there has to be at least one cacher out there that does have a connection, this cache only gets 4 1/2 stars for terrain.  I know such meanies.

When we were hiding the caches near this one.  A guy from the marina was curious and walked over to check out our kayaks.  Used a lame excuse that he was getting picked up at the point by his friend.  Yeah right.  But we got the last laugh when he took our picture with his camera and the lense cracked.

This cache may stump you for a while when you are looking for it.  But we promise that it is truly a medium sized small container hidden here.  Don't give up looking for this one.  And please rehide well.  Thanks.

Happy caching!!!!!!!

Congrats to WxRnot for the FTF!!!!!!!!!!
