We hope to see many new teams as well are our regular friends! Inspired by Wormgeocash's Quick Cuppa (QC) Events in Pretoria, Team_vdlo and GEO936 decided to host similar Events in and around Johannesburg throughout the year.
Called "Quick Social" or "QS" Events. These will be Kid Friendly, mostly on a Saturday and for just a few hours in the morning.
Thank you to other cachers, Sonsoekster, Macaddikt, BruceTP, Wildbirds and ThomasfamilyZA for stepping in and helping with hosting Events as part of this series.
QS#22 - BREKKIES WITH WILD ANIMALS
Unfortunately, our German geo-friend had changed his plans without notifying us, so he won't be coming any longer as previously communicated! Our apologies for this mishap!
Please come and join us for a relaxing morning at a great venue in the countryside which has wild animals who will come as close as 5m to you.
!!!FOR ALL YOU MOUNTAIN BIKE ENTHUSIASTS!!! This Venue has created a new mountain bike trail, and is allowing bikers free access as an introductory special. So come and try out this new track and give the owners some valuable feedback.
This is also the ideal venue to take your kids geocaching - the containers are large and you get to walk outside and enjoy beautiful views.
We'll be setup outside from 09h00, but if the weather changes they will move us inside.
If you would like to eat breakfast, we have asked the Venue to offer a special "Geocacher's" rate for this event. They have agreed to give us a special rate of R55 for a standard breakfast with bottomless cup of coffee - a great deal! But you are also welcome just to join in for a cup of coffee!
