Matsue Castle, of the 12 castles remaining in Japan, this is the only one remaining in the Sanin region.
It was built over a period of 5 years by the daimyo of the Izumo region, Yoshiharu Horio. It was completed in 1611.
It has been designated as a national important cultural property of Japan.
A small cache is hidden in the stone wall near the corner.

日本で築城以来、天守閣が残っていて今も現存する12の城の内、松江城は山陰地方で唯一のものです。
桜の名所でもあり、国の重要文化財に指定されています。
城の伝説もいろいろとありますが、この地に在住していた「小泉八雲」の小説には、怖い伝説も書かれています。
キャッシュは天守閣近くの遊歩道沿いにあります。日時によっては多くの方々が通りますので、周囲に気を付けて探して下さい。
念の為、書く物を持ってきて下さい。
