Skippy and I visited Whyalla during a bi-annual 4WD event put on by the Whyally 4WD Club: Weekend in Whyalla. From their promotional materials:
"Come and enjoy the varied landscapes and off road experiences around
Whyalla. Take in the beaches, historical mining sites, pastoral land and
conservation parks on both public and normally inaccessible private land."
It was a fun event and we got to see some beautiful landscapes from Cook's North trig point and another private lookout over Cowell.
One of the days our 4WD tour ended a little early so we took advangage of the time to take in some area geocaching. Zoomed around on the map and found this FITG series way too convenient!
