Geocache Description:

Welcome to Buttermilk Falls Trail. The trail is one-way and approximately 4 1/2 miles round trip, suitable for walking or biking. The first mile is paved and the remainder is gravel with a paved path down one side. During your hunt, take a moment to enjoy your surroundings--the running water, the deer, and all the other sounds of nature.

This is a new trail that the county is currently developing. These caches are placed with permission.

Tiedstem & I began doing some bicycle caching this summer and found that we enjoyed
the experience so much that we wanted to place new caches on our local walk/bike trail. Unfortunately, she lost her life before we could fulfill our plans.

These caches are placed as a tribute to Tiedstem (Missy Wilkins - Feb 12, 1970-Sept 18, 2012). She was my best friend and the best caching partner a person could ask for. Together, we visited many places caching that we would have never seen otherwise.

The new hides consist of 16 placements with a variety of containers. They are not meant to be hard, but rather to bring fellow cachers here to enjoy our trail.

Thanks to all whose hides we have hunted over the past 3 1/2 years and thanks to all who come to enjoy the Tiedstem Tribute Trail.

**NOTE: You will probably need an extraction tool on most of these caches.**
