Venn Ottery Quarry Triangular Walk
This is a triangular walk (unsuitable for wheelchairs) of about 1.4 miles with 12 caches, and will take about 1.5hrs. At NO time during this walk will you have to enter the quarry they are dangerous places and they do have deep cold water so do not enter. The Bridleway is a bit wet so suitable footwear is needed for this walk.
This triangular walk includes public bridleways and roads. When on the roads please be aware of cars and lorries during weekdays, en route you may meet up with horses as there are stables nearby.
During weekdays it does get rather busy as the quarry operates and lorries are in and out. If you’re lucky you may see me in one of the trucks, hint for seeing my truck it’s got Tufty on the front.
