Geocache Description:

A lot of the hilltops in Greece are named Προφήτης Ηλίας  (Profítis Ilías) after the prophet Elijah. And so is this top.

At the top is usually a white chapel. What is also the case here.
At 550 m height.

You can see it from all over the region.

If you have a suitable car, you can drive to the top (and it is not the highest part that is the worst).

You can drop off your vehicle at different places and walk further. From 'parking place 1' to the chapel is about 900 m walking.

Feel free to open the gate on your way up but close it behind your back.

Enjoy the view.

You can see Kalo Limani, Ovriokastro, Kambos Beach, Skalochori, Filia and Petra.

To close the box : push firmly on the 4 corners until you hear the 'click'. These boxes were used by the US army so they must be able to keep a piece of paper dry....
Here is a movie showing how to close the box.
